Volunteer Committees

Amory Main Street, Inc. relies on its dedicated volunteers and members who cooperatively work toward an improved, cohesive downtown which all citizens can be proud. Our volunteer committees, Promotion, Design, Economic Restructuring, and Membership are actively working toward our future and are open to new members and ideas. Presently, we have over 30 volunteers involved in doing the work of Amory Main Street, Inc. They, and our members, have allowed us to develop and complete our recent projects. Promotional projects include: Christmas, spring and Fourth of July Downtown Events. Design projects include: New seasonal banners, flags and decorations, seasonal landscaping in street corner planters, completion of an Amory billboard and restoration of the Coca-Cola billboard. Economic Restructuring and Organization has a local Tax Abatement Ordinance and Loan Pool in place with the help of the community. |
